Nomad Films has been commissioned to create several unique, site specific projection works. Lifting image creation from the confines of a screen and onto textured, organic surfaces creates the opportunity for reimagining storytelling.

The forest at night is a perfect canvas for creating a secret, magical world that speaks to the dreamer child in each of us.....


INTO THE FOREST was created in the Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park, North East Victoria, Australia. The park is a unique environment and precious home to various threatened and endangered flora and fauna species.

This work was commissioned for the 2019 Chiltern Art Prize and funded by Regional Arts Victoria

 

This immersive 360 projection was commissioned as part of the 2018 Murray Arts Limelight: Art Science, Light Festival.

Created entirely digitally the work was created to highlight to plight of the endangered Pygmy Perch, a tiny fish that is the ‘canary in the coal mine’ for many waterways in the upper reaches of the Murray Darling river system.
