"Working with Nomad films has been an absolute pleasure.  Once the artist’s brief was provided to Helen Newman for the Emporium exhibition short film she was able to run with the project independently, while still working collaboratively and in partnership with many individuals and organisations. The final outcomes were stunning and completely “in sinc” with the project brief using a combination of contemporary and historic material from the era. I have no hesitations in recommending Helen’s ability as a project manager, filmmaker and artist."

Bridget Guthrie, Museum and Social History Coordinator

AlburyCity

"The best thing about Helen at Nomad Films is that she totally 'gets it'. She has filmed and edited a number of videos for the Flying Fruit Fly Circus and each time has quickly understood the brief and produced a film that perfectly captured the mood and told the story we wanted to tell. Helen is always professional, creative and a joy to work with"

Richard Hull, Executive Director

Flying Fruit Fly Circus

"Helen did a beautiful job of capturing and honouring very sensitive stories from the community and weaving them into an elegant narrative."

"It was a pleasure making our video with Helen at Nomad Films. Helen was extremely flexible and accommodating to our needs and always available to discuss ideas. Helen made the filming process a lot of fun on the day so everyone felt comfortable and relaxed. We are so pleased with the final product and have had a great deal of complimentary feedback from our colleagues about the quality of the video. We look forward to working with Helen again in the future ir we were to ever have another video project. Thanks Helen and Nomad Films"

The literacy and numeracy projects you worked on with our families, children and community members have been outstanding successes with them, the wider community and our funding bodies.

The end product far exceeded our initialhopes and visions. Our parents have gained so much pride and confidence in their own abilities as their children’s first teachers and with their ability to producelearning resources which others find a valuable teaching tool.

Our funding bodies are pleased with the outcomes and the accolades we have received for both these projects.

This has all be made possible with your many fantastic supports, insight and skills.  You have been able to draw the participants knowledge and skills together and encourage them to use their skills when they didn’t havethe initial self confidence.  Your ability to“find the light under the bushell” and support it to shine has given everyone who had any involvement in the projects a great sense of pride.

All the best for all up coming projects.

Terry Hawkins, Director/Teacher

Koori Kindermanna, Albury
