A New Normal

Firefoxes bought the women in this film together to share their journeys of loss, grief, laughter and growth as they work to rebuild a safe, healthy and positive community

CRUNCH
Featuring a cast of talented young performers, the Flying Fruit Fly Circus' latest production CRUNCH brings together parkour, break dancing, tricking, traditional acrobatics and circus skills in a ground breaking experience for audiences of all ages.

DownPour
Acrobatics, contortion, hula hoops, adagio and risley combine with the classical art of Chinese foot-juggling in A4 Circus Ensemble's show 'DownPour'.  
Inspired by a Dostoevsky short story DownPour explores new love, lost love and everything in-between.

'embodied'
'embodied' is a selection of short films and dance works created in the second season of the dis/assemble Dance Project. The dis/assemble dance project works with dancers with and without disabilities to create new contemporary multimedia dance works

Pirates
Pirates is yet another top quality performance by the 'Flying Fruit Fly Circus'.'Swashbuckling acts at high altitude are performed alongside wonderful ground based acts. The high physical skill level, the comedy acrobatics and larrikin humour of the Fruities is beautifully showcased in this outdoor circus escapade aboard a galleon sailing ship

Sovereignty

Documentary, Sovereignty, travels from the expanse of the Central Australian desert to urban chaos, from the intimate space of the artist’s studio to the frontline of protests weaving stories, indigenous art and raw edged politics.  Tracing the colourful lives of indigenous artists and brothers, Sam Juparulla Wickman and Vincent Forrester Sovereignty explores the global questions of indigenous identity and sovereign rights.

Six

Using dancers with a wide range of abilities the dis/assemble dance project explores differences, sameness and creative ways for individuals to find their voice. Innovative and compelling theatre performance ‘6’ uses dance and film as mediums for exploring the popular theory of ‘six degrees of separation’.

The Promise

The Promise was created and performed by the Flying Fruit Fly Circus.  A spectacular fusion of circus and puppetry integrating performers in  a new and exciting showcase of their skills. Traveling from the dusty  paddocks of rural Australia to the other side of the world, The  Promise portrays a young boy’s journey to maturity and  understanding, guided by the love of his elephant. The Promise went  on to win the 2009 Helpmann Award for Best Presentation for Children.
